Dr. Jason Gregory joined the Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists team in July 2023 as the newest cardiology specialty intern. Prior to moving to Long Island, Dr. Gregory spent a year living in Boston, where he practiced as an emergency veterinarian at a large referral center. He completed his undergraduate and veterinary degrees at Kansas State University, where he also completed his rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. His interest in cardiology started within the first year of veterinary school and he has been working towards becoming a board-certified specialist ever since. After spending 9 years in Manhattan, KS receiving his education, he decided it was time for a change of scenery, packed his bags, and moved to the Northeast!

Dr. Gregory's predominant interests in veterinary cardiology lie in interventional catheterization procedures and cardiac-related cancers. He enjoys learning and teaching as much as possible, and intends to practice in academia once his training is complete.

Dr. Gregory is originally from Kansas City and is a lifelong fan of the Chiefs and Royals. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active through weightlifting, exploring his new home and trying out new restaurants.
