Practice Limited to Internal Medicine
Dr. Hurwitz graduated with honors from Tufts University with a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology. She received her DVM at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, did her Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at The Center for Specialized Veterinary Care in Westbury, NY and then completed a Residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine.
She is a candidate to receive board certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine with a specialty in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Her areas of interest are hematology, herpetology (liver disease), nephrology (kidney disease), and interventional radiology.
